The Beverly project will take place at the following locations: the Board’s Water Filtration Plant at 50 Arlington Avenue, Beverly, MA; the Longham Reservoir Gatehouse on Longham Road, Beverly, MA; and the Putnamville Reservoir Gatehouse at 320 Locust Street, Danvers, MA. The work includes, but is not limited to, immediate upgrades and all related work as detailed in the Contract Documents. The scope of work involves the demolition of the above-grade gatehouse at the Putnamville Reservoir, replacement of the bar rack at the Longham Gatehouse, and installation of a flow meter along the pipeline. Additionally, the project includes upgrading filters by replacing the underdrains, troughs, surface wash equipment, and media; improving the filter pipe gallery through painting and selective pipe replacement; installing a new backwash drain line valve; and replacing select components in the sedimentation basin. Updates to the fluoride room will include new tanks and pumps with adequate containment.
