The work consists of removal and replacement of filter media (Anthracite coal media, GreensandPlus filter media, Gravel support media), removal of sample port nozzles, cleaning and replacement of gaskets on air release valves, and replacement of the air wash distribution system within three (3) 10-foot diameter pressure filtration vessels. The alternate bid items includes replacement of underdrain nozzles and additional repairs to the sample nozzles.
